Mark Kula serves as Chief Financial Officer, leading the Able-One team in the areas of finance, accounting, operations, human resources and legal.

Mark attended Western University where he obtained a degree in Management & Organizational Studies with a Specialization in Finance followed by a Diploma in Accounting. Kicking off his career in the world of assurance and tax services, he earned the Chartered Accountant & Chartered Professional Accountant designations while working with public, private and non-profit entities at BDO Canada LLP in Toronto’s financial district. 

In 2010, Mark returned to his roots in Kitchener-Waterloo, joining the region’s tech sector as Vice President, Finance of Able-One before taking the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2012. He balances his energy and focus between strategic planning and operational excellence, passionately navigating the opportunities and challenges of the information technology landscape.

Mark takes pride in being an active member of the Kitchener-Waterloo business and technology communities. Amongst other community initiatives, Mark proudly serves Big Brother Big Sisters of Waterloo Region as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Investment and Audit Committees.

In addition to finance and technology, Mark’s greatest passions include golf, skiing, fitness, travel and cuisine.
